Apple heeft een hoop nieuwe features toegevoegd, waarvan we in dit artikel de belangrijkste toelichten. Wat zijn de grootste verschillen tussen met de iPhone 15 en 16? #1 Physical shutter button

Apple has placed a new button on the iPhone 16. This is a physical shutter button. With this you can easily open the camera, take photos or videos, zoom in and out and adjust the settings. In addition, it will be added in a future IOS update, that you can focus on an object or person with this button.

#2 Slow motion

The iPhone 16 Pro models have the option to record videos or slo-mo in 4K with 120fps. You can then adjust the playback speed yourself in the photos app afterwards. This allows you to shoot professional slo-mo shots with your phone. This allows you to give a dynamic twist to your videos, without having to use editing software. For example, you can film a cool stunt in the air and make it slow-motion later. You can choose to play your recording at 0.25x, 0.5x or 0.2x speed. This gives you a lot of freedom to play with the different speeds in your recording.

#3 Audio Mix

Audio recordings will sound even better on the iPhone 16 Pro models. This is because the iPhone 16 Pro models are equipped with 4 studio-quality microphones. In addition, it is also possible to record with spatial audio, which makes the sound even more realistic. The Pro models are equipped with an audio mixing tool. This allows you to easily adjust the sound of a recording afterwards. It is possible to isolate the sound of a person in the image. This is ideal, for example, when you are conducting an interview in a noisy place or when several people talk over each other during your podcast and you would like to highlight one of the voices.

#4 A18 chip & Apple Intelligence

One of the biggest changes Apple has made to the iPhone 16 models is the chip. All iPhone 16 models have the latest A18 chip. With this chip you can use Apple Intelligence. Unfortunately, Apple Intelligence is not yet available in Europe. Apple has indicated that they want to roll this out in Europe in the future, but the exact date is not yet known.

Apple Intelligence is Apple's own AI technology. Apple Intelligence is integrated into apps that you already use every day to increase their ease of use. A number of these AI features are extremely useful for creating content. The App "Writing Tools" can rewrite, check or summarize texts. This can be used, for example, when writing and checking scripts for your videos. You can also easily generate images with Apple Intelligence. Suppose you quickly need a thumbnail for your latest video, then you can generate a nice image with a few sentences.

#5 Improved ultra-wide angle lens

Apple has improved the ultra-wide lens on the iPhone 16. The ultra-wide lens now has autofocus and a larger aperture. This allows you to take better wide-angle photos in low-light conditions. Finally, you can now also take macro photos with the standard iPhone model. When you now hold your phone close to a phone, the iPhone will automatically switch to macro mode.

#6 General features

In addition to these features, there are also a lot of smaller changes to the iPhone 16. For example, the new Pro models have the thinnest edge of all iPhone models. This ensures that your screen is proportionally even larger. The heat from the Pro models is dissipated more efficiently, which ensures better performance and due to the larger battery and improved power management, you can use your iPhone for much longer.
