Almost every power bank has one or more buttons. But what are these buttons on the power bank for? Read on to find out.

On/off button

Many power banks allow you to turn them on with the push of a button. Charging starts immediately when you connect a device. Some power banks also turn on automatically when a device is connected.

Activate special modes

Some power banks have additional features, such as a low current mode. How you activate these modes varies by power bank. You often activate the additional function on the power bank by holding the button for a few seconds.

Reset function

On some models, you can reset the power bank with a long press in case of a malfunction or error message. Resetting the power bank often resolves most errors.
