Festival season is upon us. Several (weekend) festivals will be taking place soon. To ensure you have the best possible festival experience, we've compiled a festival packing list. This will help you prepare for your favorite festivals. There's a difference between a festival packing list for a weekend festival and a day festival, so we'll make a distinction here.

When you are at a festival for several days, you obviously need to take different things with you than when you go for a day. That is why there is a separate festival packing list for this, but everything from the day festival packing list can of course also be used during the weekend festival. The most important thing for both a day festival and a weekend festival is that you listen carefully to your own body, drink enough, don't stand in the sun too much and take enough rest.

To ensure that you stay fresh during the entire festival, it is important to also take some care products with you. Not showering for 3 days is certainly not recommended for yourself and the people around you.

Documenten en tickets

Zorg dat je je ticket bij de hand hebt, digitaal of geprint, zodat je het terrein op komt. Neem ook je OV-kaart of pendebus-ticket mee als je met het openbaar vervoer naar het festival reist. Vergeet vooral niet je identiteitsbewijs, dit is verplicht bij de ingang en voor drankverkoop. Zorg dat je zowel je pinpas als wat contant geld hebt zodat je altijd kan betalen, ook als er geen bereik is. Deze basis benodigdheden voorkomen gedoe en zorgen dat je zorgeloos van het festival kunt genieten

Zorg dat je bereikbaar blijft

Op een festival is het belangrijk dat je altijd een opgeladen smartphone hebt: om je vrienden terug te vinden, je ticket te laten zien bij de ingang, foto's te maken of het noodnummer te bellen. Maar met een vol festivalweekend en slecht bereik is je batterij zo leeg. Neem daarom altijd een powerbank mee, zodat je je smartphone kunt opladen terwijl je aan het feesten bent, zonder stopcontact. Kampeer je op het terrein? Vergeet dan ook geen stekker of oplaadblok mee te nemen voor de laadpunten op de camping. Zo blijf je altijd bereikbaar tijdens het festival.

Tip: make sure your smartphone is fully charged when you wake up. Or bring a power bank!

Food and drinks for the campsite

You probably don't have the time or inclination to cook extensively at a festival, so it is important that you bring easy-to-prepare food. Consider, for example, Instant noodles or currant buns. It is very important to eat enough, because during a festival you are in full motion, so you also use a lot of energy. Of course you have to replenish this again.
