What is an iPhone power bank?

An iPhone power bank is a portable charger that connects directly to an Apple iPhone. With the right cable, an iPhone can be charged with any power bank. Almost all iPhones have an Apple Lightning connector. To make things easier, we offer MOJOGEAR sets that combine a power bank with an Apple Lightning connector.

How does a power bank work?

Before use, the power bank must be fully charged. Charging is possible with the included cable. In most cases, we include a USB-C or Micro-USB cable that you can connect to a wall socket with an adapter. With a fully charged iPhone power bank and cable, you can then leave the house with peace of mind. When your iPhone battery runs low, you can recharge it with the power bank. What capacity do I need?

iPhone power banks come in various mAh capacities. mAh stands for milliampere-hour and indicates how much power a power bank can hold. At MOJOGEAR, you can choose between a 10,000 mAh or 20,000 mAh power bank. A fully charged 10,000 mAh power bank can charge an iPhone an average of 2 to 4 times. This also depends on the battery of your iPhone model. Newer, larger iPhones like the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have a larger, longer-lasting battery. If you're going away for several days, use your iPhone continuously, for example, recording videos, or also want to charge an iPad with the power bank, choose a 20,000 mAh iPhone power bank . Can I charge my iPhone extra fast with USB Power Delivery?

USB Power Delivery is a fast-charging technology that delivers more power than standard charging technology. All models from iPhone 8 and later are compatible with USB Power Delivery. Fast charging only works if you use a USB-C to Apple Lightning cable.

Can I use my iPhone power bank for other devices?
