With the Telesin Master Lens 2X Tele, you add extra optical range to theiPhone 17 Pro Max. This telephoto lens was specifically developed for theTelesin Master Grip system for iPhone 17 Pro Maxand attaches to the Master Grip setup via the accompanying lens adapter plate. With 2X optical magnification, you bring subjects closer and create a longer focal length for portraits, events, concerts, street photography, and other situations where extra reach is desired. The lens features a bright F2.6 aperture and an aluminum body with optical glass.
The Master Lens is not a universal smartphone lens, but a component of theTelesin Master system. It is designed to work with theMaster Grip for iPhone 17 Pro Maxand is mechanically attached via the special lens adapter plate.
As a result, the lens forms a fixed and stable combination with the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Master Grip. If you already have a Master Grip for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, you can use this Master Lens as an expansion of your existing camera setup. The lens adapter plate is included. Telesin offers the Master Grip for the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max as separate variants.
The 2X optical magnification is particularly interesting for portrait photography. In combination with the main camera of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, this results in a focal length of approximately105 mm equivalent. That longer perspective is suitable for portraits where you want to keep a bit more distance from your subject and create a sharper, natural image.
Furthermore, the longer focal length results in more background compression. This causes your subject to stand out more strongly from the background, creating a more photographic look than with a wider camera angle.
The Master Lens is also suitable when you cannot easily get closer to your subject. Think of concerts, events, travel photography, street photography, and capturing details from a distance.
With 2X optical magnification, your iPhone 17 Pro Max gains extended reach without relying solely on digital magnification. This allows you to bring subjects larger into the frame while simultaneously using a longer focal length for your composition.
The Master Lens features anF2.6 apertureand an optical glass construction. Telesin specifies a center resolution of up to 200 lp/mm. The optics feature a coating that helps protect against smudges and water, ensuring the glass remains clean and clear during daily use.
The combination of 2X magnification and F2.6 makes the lens suitable for a wide range of lighting conditions and gives you more possibilities to work with perspective and background blur.
A telephoto lens makes small movements during photography more clearly visible. The Master Lens is therefore not simply clamped onto the smartphone with a separate clip, but uses the mechanical attachment within the Telesin Master system.
In combination with the Master Grip, a fixed camera setup is created that works well for both photography and video. The aluminum housing ensures a sturdy construction, while the weight of the lens is approximately129 grams.
The Telesin Master Lens 2X Tele comes with a lens adapter plate, classic lens hood, lens caps, UV filter, and carrying case. The lens hood helps limit stray light and protects the front of the lens during use. The lens caps protect the optical glass when storing or transporting the lens.
Please note: this version is specifically intended for the Telesin Master Grip for iPhone 17 Pro Max . The Master Grip and iPhone 17 Pro Max are not included. This product concerns the Master Lens with accompanying accessories.
