How do you use a tripod for your phone?

How do I attach my iPhone or other smartphone to a tripod?

When choosing a tripod holder, consider how you want to secure your iPhone or smartphone. The most common locking methods are spring-loaded, screw-tightened, or magnetic. We also recommend checking the maximum smartphone width the holder can accommodate. Many holders are universal for smartphones up to 10 centimetres wide, but this isn't always the case. You also need to check how the holder attaches to your tripod. Most phone holders for tripods have a 1/4-inch and/or 3/8-inch screw hole, allowing you to attach the holder quickly and easily. How can I film both horizontally and vertically from a tripod?

Do you want to be able to film and take photos from different angles: horizontal, vertical, or tilted? Then choose a rotating phone holder or a phone holder with an extra 1/4-inch screw hole.
