The housing of the microphone is made of sturdy metal. The shock mount reduces vibrations. Despite the sturdy housing, the CVM-VM10 II is very light: it weighs only 48 grams (including pop hood and shock mount). Due to the compact size, the microphone is very easy to carry.

The VM10 directional microphone for smartphone and camera comes with a pop cover, a windscreen (also called deadcat), shock mount, connection cables for camera (3.5mm TRS) and smartphone (3.5mm TRRS) and a luxury storage case.

Headphone jack

Note: this microphone fits into the headphone jack of a telephone. Many new smartphones no longer have a headphone jack. In that case you can use an adapter (often supplied with your phone) to connect the microphone. You also need an adapter to connect the microphone to a GoPro camera.
