With the Telesin Master Lens 2X Tele, you get more out of your camera. iPhone 17 Pro. This 2X telephoto lens was specifically developed for theTelesin Master Grip system for iPhone 17 Proand attaches to the Master Grip setup via the accompanying lens adapter plate. This adds true optical magnification to your iPhone, giving you greater reach for portraits, events, concerts, and other situations where your subject is a bit further away. The lens features a bright F2.6 aperture and an aluminum body with optical glass.
The Master Lens is part of the Telesin Master System and is designed to work with theMaster Grip for iPhone 17 Pro. The lens is not mounted on the phone as a universal clip-on, but uses the special lens adapter plate of the Master System. This ensures the lens forms a fixed and stable combination with the iPhone 17 Pro and Master Grip.
If you already have a Telesin Master Grip for the iPhone 17 Pro, you can add this Master Lens as an expansion to your existing setup. The lens comes with the necessary lens adapter plate.
The 2X magnification brings your subject optically closer and gives you more control over image composition. Combined with the main camera of the iPhone 17 Pro, the lens creates a focal length of approximately105 mm equivalent, a range that is particularly suitable for portrait photography.
The longer focal length allows you to maintain more distance from your subject while simultaneously creating a tighter frame. This results in a natural perspective for portraits and helps to separate the subject more strongly from the background.
The Master Lens is not only interesting for portraits. The extra reach also comes in handy when you cannot get close enough to your subject. Think of concerts, events, street photography, travel photography, and capturing details from a distance.
You use the optical magnification of the lens to bring the subject into focus, rather than just zooming in further digitally. This makes the Master Lens particularly interesting for those who want to take more deliberate and photographic telephoto shots with the iPhone 17 Pro.
With anF2.6 aperture, the Master Lens is designed to let through sufficient light for various shooting conditions. The optical construction uses optical glass, and Telesin specifies a center resolution of up to 200 lp/mm.
Additionally, the lens features a coating that helps keep the glass clean and resistant to stains. This ensures the optics remain suitable for intensive use during photography and video.
The lens features an aluminum housing and weighs approximately129 grams. With this, Telesin combines a sturdy construction with a relatively compact size. Mechanical attachment via the lens adapter plate ensures that the lens becomes a permanent part of the Master Grip setup.
With the Telesin Master Lens 2X Tele, in addition to the lens, you receive a lens adapter plate, a classic lens hood, lens caps, a UV filter, and a carrying case. The lens hood helps limit unwanted stray light, while the lens caps protect the optical glass when you are not using the lens.
Please note: this version is specifically intended for the Telesin Master Grip for iPhone 17 Pro . This product is the Master Lens itself and is not a complete Master Grip kit. The Master Grip and iPhone 17 Pro are not included.
