GoPro Lit Hero: specificaties en nieuwe features

Along with the GoPro Max 2, GoPro has also released a successor to the GoPro Hero, the mini action cam. This is the GoPro Lit Hero. The GoPro Lit Hero is so small you can hang it on your keychain. The GoPro Lit Hero isn't focused on the very best and sharpest footage, but on convenience. You can easily take the GoPro Lit Hero with you and take great photos and videos with it. In this blog post, we discuss what's changed compared to the GoPro Hero and what the new features of this action cam are. The GoPro Lit Hero is available for €269. This is comparable to the DJI Osmo Nano, but considerably cheaper than the Insta360 Go Ultra.

The biggest difference between the GoPro Lit Hero and the GoPro Hero is 4K filming. The GoPro Lit Hero lets you film in 4K at 60 frames per second, while the GoPro Hero only shoots at 30 frames per second. This also allows you to film in 4K slow motion. The footage also looks smoother in 4K.

The angle of view, size, battery and waterproofing have all remained the same.

New features of the GoPro Lit Hero

There aren't a ton of new features added to the GoPro Lit Hero, but there are a number of nice additions that make it more enjoyable to use.

1. Built-in lamp

The GoPro Lit Hero is so named because it now features a built-in light. This built-in light has three different brightness settings. These three modes allow you to use the right light for the right situation. It can also add a nice touch to your photos and videos. The light is a nice addition, but you can also attach an external light to your GoPro. It will likely not be waterproof in that case.

2. Magnetic attachment

Just like the GoPro Hero 13 and the GoPro Max 2, the GoPro Lit Hero also attaches magnetically. This allows you to quickly switch between different accessories with your GoPro, making it much easier to film from different angles.

Conclusion

Not a huge amount has changed compared to the GoPro Hero, but since you can now film at 60 frames per second in 4K resolution, it's still a significant upgrade. The built-in light and magnetic mount are nice extras, but they don't significantly change the camera.
